Using Our Chart Widgets

What are Widgets

Widgets are a collection of HTML code that allow one web site to display a chart, video, table, text, etc that is generated in another web site.

How Can My Real Estate Business Benefit From Chart Widgets

Nowadays customers want to know everything they can about the real estate properties that are in the market before they even consider looking at them. Part of these data include trend charts that show how certain property values have changed over time and how they are currently trending. Some of the most important ones are Sales Price Per Square Feet (or Square Meter) and Listing Price Per Square Feet (or Square Meter). Most realtors currently do not show these type of trend charts as it is very expensive and time consuming to create them in real time.

CondosCafe Inc brings realtors and analysts the capability of displaying Sales and Listing Price Per Square Feet (or Square Meter) on their own web site without major effort. It only takes 4 lines of HTML code for you or your web master to place on the web page where you want to display the chart. We currently provide charts for over 10 cities, their corresponding zip codes and 700+ buildings in South Florida. The data used to generate the charts are updated in realtime everyday from the same data that is used in the MLS.

How Can I Use Them and Examples

There are three main applications where you can use our widgets:

  • You can display the Avg. Sales and Listing Price/SqFt for a city (for instance Miami Beach). However you may also include the capability for your users to view the Avg. Sales and Listing Price/SqMt as most people in Europe and Latin America use the Square Meter units
  • Miami Beach has three zip codes and the Avg. Sales Price/SqFt charts for each of the zip codes looks very different as they represent different market segments. So you may want to show a more specialized market analysis of Miami Beach by showing three different City and Zip Code charts; where each one is provided by a different widget.
  • Miami Beach has hundreds of buildings and each one has a very different behaviour when it comes to the Avg. Sales and Listing Price/SqFt of their condo units. So you can take it one step further and provide the Avg. Sales and Listing Price/SqFt (or SqMt) charts for each building. This way your customers can see how the sales and listing trends look like for each building and you can be better prepared to justify sales and listing prices to your customer base.

When you buy a widget you buy it for a specific web site (for example www.SoFiStyle.com). The widget will only work if it is used in that web site (regardless if it is in a sub page of the web site). You can also select the dimensions that you want for each widget. This way you or your web master can tailor each chart so that it fits into your web site layout. Finally, you can also program the amount of historical data that you want the widget to show, from 1 to 7 years. All widgets show the Average Quarterly Sales and Listing Price/SqFt (or SqMt).

We have placed some widget examples at www.SoFiStyle.com and www.CondosCafe.info so that you can get a better idea of what you get and what you can do with our widgets.

How Do I Know If The Widgets Work On My Web Site

In order to make sure that you do not waste your time, we have created a test widget that you can place in your web site to check if your web site is compatible with our widget technology. Please copy the widget below and place it in a test page on your web site:

<div> <iframe name="CCIfrmWidget0" id="CCIfrmWidget0" src="http://www.condoscafe.com/TestChartWidget.aspx?WID=0" height="500px" width="700px" scrolling="no" frameborder="0" > <p> Your browser does not support frames or is currently configured not to display frames. Please use an up-to-date browser that is capable of displaying frames.</p> </iframe> </div>

You should see the following chart in your web site:
